a bit about kaylyn’s practice

Kaylyn is a visual artist and educator based in Nelson, BC. Her practice spans drawing, painting, printmaking, textiles, sculpture, digital art and murals, choosing whatever medium suits each piece. She teaches art classes in the Kootenays and is currently planning to pursue an after degree in Education through UBC. Her pieces are often created by observing her environment, the objects within it or her thoughts and anxiety each day. She is interested in how day-to-day shifts in one's mind shape our perception of the world and the objects we see everyday.
